Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public access to many court and county records, but Latah County records are not held by one counter. The District Court and its Magistrate Division handle felony, civil, family, traffic, misdemeanor, probate, guardianship, warrant, and juvenile matters under Idaho's unified trial court system. The Clerk of the District Court counter in Room 119 handles court case filings and court records, while the Auditor/Clerk/Recorder in Room 101 handles recorded documents and marriage licenses. The Sheriff's Office manages jail and law-enforcement records. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for those offices into one place.

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
